The Paletta Group Privacy Policy

Customer privacy is a high priority at the Paletta Group of properties as we have always maintained a policy of protecting our customers' personal information. Personal information shall not be used or disclosed for purposes other than those for which it was collected, except with the consent of the customer, or as required by law.

What we consider personal information? It is any factual or subjective information, recorded or not, about an identifiable individual. Name, address, phone number, marital status, age, race, SIN, ID numbers, and credit card are some of the information that is considered personal.

Consent? We must inform the individual in a meaningful way of the purposes for the collection, use or disclosure of their personal information. We will need to get consent before or at the time of collection of the information and any time a new use is identified. We cannot make consent a condition for supplying a service or product, unless the information is requested for a legitimate purpose. Consent can be implied or expressed, written or verbal. We assure individuals that specific safeguards will protect their information. For example, we will ensure that personal information that has no relevance to the transaction is either removed or masked when providing copies of information to others, that we do not partake in any third party solicitation and we do enlist in the use of professional shredding services. We will not use or disclose the personal information collected except with the informed consent of the individual. New uses or disclosures are only permitted when consent is again obtained from the individual. The purpose of collecting individual information is for the sole purpose of marketing, customer profiling, and customer health concerns.
